How do I stop eating sweet foods?

I have a really (and I mean REALLY!) sweet tooth. I can eat organic sugar by tablespoonfulls and honey by the jar. I eat fruits like oranges, blueberrie, mangoes, strawberries and grapes as if I needed them to survive. I also enjoy molasses (wich I eat by the spoonful every morning) and good chocolate. I am so hooked up sugary stuff and I wish I could just eat a bag of chips sometimes! But I can't, I always, ALWAYS need to eat something sweet. I am not fat and I drink plenty of water but I am OBSESSED with sweet foods! Please help me...somehow!

How do I stop eating sweet foods?
It is not that you may have to stop eating sweets-that is fantastic!! What I have found that may work is to just start weening of gradually! Don't keep these close to your work station or in your auto-make it a little more difficult to gain access to these. Instead of maybe having 5, start with 4 for one week then 3 the next etc..........after awhile you will just not have the taste or need for these things. Substitute for something else that is better for you i.e. carrots, celery etc. It is always a tough battle to accomplish change-once you start down a path of regimental change you will find other areas in your life you would want to change. Find a friend who also shares your same concerns. Hope this helps. Remember though - you only live once - Enjoy what you like! Life is too short!!!!!!!!
Reply:Try limiting your self to a little a day then make the amount smaller as you get used to it. try to find something non-sugary that you like that can replace sugary foods
Reply:if its always in your house dont buy it...i have found that if its not around i wont crave it or i wont eat it as much
Reply:the way I do it - if I really want something sweet and fattening, I would allow myself have it, but once or twice a week (I mean a cake or pastry). I replace cakes with sweet fruit and dried fruit. A lot of people mistaken hunger with thirst. Do you drink a litre of water per day? Also, stop buying sweet stuff. I find that if there is nothing at home - there is no temptation. easy!
Reply:sorry but you really have to go cold turkey for a couple days- sugar breeds its own cravings, which is why you are on what is referred to as a sugar rollercoaster and the only way to get off is to stop feeding the cravings.

The best way to do this is to spend a couple of days with no sweets or starches (bread, rice, etc) at all, as they all metabolize as sugar once digested. Stick to veggies and protein and if you really have to have something sweet, have diet soda. It will be really hard and you will probably feel tired and experience headaches but once your system adjusts you will feel great and you can begin to have a healthy relationship with sweets.

Stay busy to distract yourself from the cravings and enlist the help of a friend so that you don't cave in. You should also get your blood sugar levels tested just to be safe.

How to make something sweet to eat, without using any sweet ingredient??

I have a reall sweet tooth, with nothing sweet in the house besides sugar and coco. and some other stuff. please help!!!

How to make something sweet to eat, without using any sweet ingredient??
you will need to use fruits
Reply:do you have any fruit? fruit has natural sugars in it and its good for you. and its yummy
Reply:Do you have fruit? You can eat that or make a smoothie if you have berries or bananas.
Reply:Eat some fruit

make lemonade w/ splenda, then blenderize it w/ ice
Reply:if you have honey you can use that
Reply:Do you have milk, powdered sugar, vanilla and margarine, too? If you do, you can make some awesome tasting EASY fudge!

Microwave Fudge

1 box (1 lb. size) confectioner's sugar (powdered sugar)

1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1 stick butter or margarine (1/2 cup)

1/4 cup milk

1 teaspoon vanilla

1/2 cup chopped nuts, optional (black walnuts are especially delightful in this)

Sift together the confectioner's sugar and cocoa into a medium sized bowl. Make a well in the center of the dry mixture, and in it place the butter and milk. DO NOT STIR! Place the bowl in your microwave and cook for 2 minutes on full power (do not overcook).

Add the vanilla, (and nuts), and stir until combined. Put in foil or plastic wrap lined pan Refrigerate for at least 1 hour then cut into desired pieces.

Note, you must keep these in the refrigerator or they will get too soft.
Reply:Make an apple pie w/o using sugar from a packet.
Reply:Stevia is a great great great %26amp; healthy sweetener, with NO CALORIES and a little goes a LONGGG way!!! I eat it every day about 10x a day too....and I am just fine!
Reply:fruits and also beets
Reply:Put together a summer fruit salad with all your favorite friuts. blend a little fresh mint with a small container of vanilla low fat vanilla yogurt and you have a great salad topping. Yummy!

The salads great without a dressing too just don't drain the salad if your using watermelon, my boys like the juice.

I need some ideas or recipies for sweet & tasty, but super healthy snacks?

Basically I have a HUGE sweet tooth. And on every diet I always end up ruining the diet by giving in to my sweet tooth and having m%26amp;ms or chocolate or popsicles instead of sumthing better. Partly because I just haven't found a dessert and sweet snack that is great for me .

And ideas would be greatly appreciated so I won't be 300 lbs by my wedding.

I need some ideas or recipies for sweet %26amp; tasty, but super healthy snacks?
There are some chocolates and snacks that are made with artificial sweetener. But they do cost slightly more expensive. One suggestion to you is that you take high fibre stuff such as wholemeal bread, or even fibre supplement drinks at the very beginning of the day, before your breakfast. As fibre prevents your body from absorbing the sugar, you can be assured that you won't gain as much weight from the excess sugar that you take! I lost 10 pounds in 1 month using this method (But of course with diet control).

Reply:Try a handful of dried fruit. Or they have those 100 calorie packs of all kinds of snacks now--even Oreos. Of course it's not the full cream-in-the-middle Oreo, but it's close! Just don't eat the whole box of them in one day! lol.

Sweet Recipe for a Diabetic?

A good friend of mine was just diagnosed with Diabetes. She has a wicked sweet tooth and I would like to make her something sweet and comforting that won't aggaravate the issue. I also wanted to include the recipe in a card to let her know that I was thinking about her - but with out making her feel bad...

Any suggestions for websites with recipes or a way to come across as caring and thoughtful - instead of rubbing the problem in her face? Thanks in advance!!!

How can I stop eating junky/sweet foods? I don't want diabetes.?

I'm 13 and my dad has a family generation of having diabetes. I do not want to prick myself. I want to stop eating junk foods. I eat too many sweets. I never listen to my mom. She is always telling me to stop. She is tired when she gets home so she can't cook so she instead, buys fast food. I always have a sweet tooth which is bad. I eat pizza, drink gatorade, have a bag of baked chips, and eat one cookie on a daily basis. I've heard there is a pill that you can take to stop your sweet tooth, may you give me the name of it -- (money isn't an issue)? Also, what are symptoms of diabetes? I have a strong feeling I have it right now. I hope not. Is there any way to cure diabetes? My dad's best friend had his leg cut off when he was 30 and he died at 32. So may you please help??

I appreciate it.

How can I stop eating junky/sweet foods? I don't want diabetes.?
I am a physician and am answering this question, because it is a great one. First, I will start with the usual symptoms. Excessive thirst, excessive urination, excessive eating/drinking and fatigue. There are many others. There is also two types of Diabetes Mellitus. If you are young, the type of diabetes that is common among the young is called Type I diabetes. Is usually is not hereditary, but might be. Having a sweet tooth should not be a cause of Diabetes, however, can be a symptom of low blood sugar. At your age, I would not worry about it. If your family is concerned about your risks, you should seek a physician's advise and let him/her check your blood sugar and something called A1C. Type II Diabetes is usually hereditary and sometimes caused by obesity and/or alcoholism. Both types usually present with excessive urination and excessive thirst. If you are concerned, have your parents bring you to the physician to have your sugar checked. Take care and good luck. Having a sweet tooth, as I have had when I was your age has not caused me to have diabetes.
Reply:There isn't a pill that will cure you. You are aware of what the problem is so you have to make your mind up that you can make the changes and stick to it. If it makes it easier for you, I can tell you for sure that once you stop eating foods with added sugar you will have less food cravings.

Ask your mom to buy fruit instead of cookies, cakes, cokes, candy and chips. Tell her you are afraid of getting diabetes and you need her to keep healthier foods in the house.

It wont be easy but once you do it you will feel better. Stop one food at a time so you aren't feeling so deprived.I promise if you stop eating sugar you will feel better and have less food cravings. Once you have given up foods with added sugar you will find that fruit is incredibly sweet . When we eat foods with added sugar our taste buds stop being as sensitive to naturally sweet things like fruit.
Reply:type 1 diabetes isnt preventable.....what you eat (diet) and how much you exercise has nothing to do with whether or not you'll develop it....its usually found in young kids or young adults

type 2 diabetes....you can decrease the chances of developing type 2 by cutting back on the types of foods u listed....cut back on carbs

the main symptoms are.....

1. excessive thirst (you can drink a lot of water and still feel thirsty)

2.excessive hunger

3. frequent urination (going to the bathroom at least every 2 hours...sometimes sooner....going 3 or 4 times a night)

other symptoms are...

1. unexplained weight loss (i loss 40lbs in 2 months)

2. blurry vision

3.feeling tired (i could sleep for 10+ hours and still feel REALLY tired)

there is no cure for either type

by the way, all that junk food you eat doesnt cause type 2 diabetes. what it does is make you fat...being overweight is what increases the chance of developing type 2.
Reply:I want to add something to what starr....... mentioned. Diabetes is not directly caused by your diet. Type 2 diabetes can be indirectly caused by your diet but there are other factors like heredity that are more important than your diet. If It is in your family then you will definitely be at risk when you get older. You can prevent it by exercising, eating right, and keeping your weight down. If you are really concerned about this you should talk to your mom about it. Maybe she would be willing to cook healthier meals for you. I am 44 years old. I have had diabetes for 1 year and I had a heart attack almost 1 year ago (that is one of the many things that can happen to a diabetic). Even though I am tired when I get home, I must take the time to cook and eat properly. This is something I must do every day for the rest of my life because I didn't take care of myself for the first 43 years of my life.
Reply:By eating to live instead of living to eat. All that means is changing your priorities from eating for immediate short lasting pleasure to long term feeling good pleasure. Healthy people feel better than unhealthy people. (I've been on both sides... dramatically so).

Don't believe for a moment, that poor diet doesn't cause diabetes as one person seems to be suggesting. Since it runs in your family, it's vitally important that you learn good eating habits. There is a ton of information out there that points to two major contributors to diabetes in those who have the genetic predisposition like you.... POOR DIET AND LACK OF EXERCISE. Both contribute to weight gain which is a third ingredient in becoming diabetic. Read some of my other answers and follow the links in my profile. I've done a tremendous amount of reading on this and there's no doubt in my mind that diet plays a crucial role in the development of type two diabetes. After reading a few of the articles I refer to under this question, you'll likely agree with me:

Tooth Decay & Enamel Loss?

My top 2 front teeth are stained at the top %26amp; I've tried cleaning them with whiteners %26amp; picks but they're not smooth anymore on the top part of them. I think I've lost the enamel. How can I fix it or is it too late to fix?

Also, I have a VERY bad case of 'sweet tooth' and I've noticed cavities forming at the gum line on some of my back teeth and some teeth are getting stained inbetween teeth. Can these be fixed with fillings?

My calcium got very low while I was pregnant (2004-2005) and thats when my teeth started showing signs of tooth decay, cavities, %26amp; enamel loss. I cant afford to see a dentist right now so is there anything I can do to help these problems? I brush everyday. I'm not sure if it's getting any better or if it's just not getting any worse.. Any ideas?

Tooth Decay %26amp; Enamel Loss?
Here is a list of dental schools by state (assuming you live in the US) you can call for an estimate, it will be cheaper!

http://www.ada.org/prof/ed/programs/sear...
Reply:You might want to research the dangerous of flouride in your water and discontinue its use!
Reply:You can buy enamel tooth paste and mouth waste. I use "Enamel Care" for tooth paste and Act mouth wash. They really work.
Reply:After pregnancy my teeth, which were previous perfect, started to cause me trouble. Because I never had problems with my teeth and I had very little money, I put off going to the dentist. I regret it now because all of the money that I saved and more has gone into a single root canal operation that cost me over 1000 dollars. It is better to spend the 100 dollars once a year to get you teeth cleaned professionally. ALso,the gunk that builds up on your teeth can damage your heart. I knowit sounds had to beleive but the bacteria that are all over your teeth and gums in the form plaque can get into your blood stream and colonize your heart. I had some problems with my heart and then I got the teeth cleaned and the problems have gotten alot better. Not going to the dentist regularly is a bad practice.
Reply:Please try to find the money to go get this taken care of,before it is to late. Dentures are no fun. Find a dentist that will let you pay as you go.If you can not get a loan to have them fixed now. Ask your family to help you out. Perhaps co-sign a loan for you. Your teeth and very important to your health and your self esteem
Reply:In agreement with previous answerers you need to visit the dentist. The cavities you see forming can be fixed with fillings or whatever course of action you dentist finds best. There are several programs of credit, some offices offer personalized payment plans and cheap insurances that will help cover the costs.

Bottom line: See a dentist!!

Is it normal for 1 tooth to be sensitive to cold and sweet foods after you get your braces takes off?

It is possible that a bit of the enamel was removed when the the brackets were snapped off. This happened to my husband and the orthodontist put some bonding material (white filling) over it. Since they are now off you should have a full cleaning, exam and xrays to make sure that there is no decay (cavitites), no left over cement, build up (tartar, stain, plaque) that is preventing your gums from being their best. Usually the gums will be swollen while the braces are on and shrink back to a normal healthy size once they are off and the teeth are clean. Let your dentist / hygienist check everything out.

Hope that helps and wear your retainer

Is it normal for 1 tooth to be sensitive to cold and sweet foods after you get your braces takes off?
You might have a cavity within that tooth somewhere.
Reply:Sounds like decay. It is easier to get decay when you have braces, because the braces make brushing more difficult.

Sweet-Toothed, Diabetic Father-in-law coming for Christmas. Need recipes.?

My diabetic Father-in-law will be coming for Christmas + two weeks.

He has an awful sweet-tooth, and with all of the Christmas baking I do for my own family of 5, I need some ideas of desserts and other tempting appetizers that will help me keep him out of harm's way.

He has a habit of sneaking into the sweets when he thinks he isn't being watched. So I need some really deceptive dishes - dishes he thinks he shouldn't be eating.

That way I can have a secret stash of the "good stuff" for the rest of us.

Anyone have any wonderful, sugar-free recipes?

Thanks in advance!

Baked bananas are DELICIOUS! It sounds like a bore but it's so easy. After you have baked or roasted something in the oven, just put a few bananas in there and turn it off. Leve the bananas for about 30 minutes until they are completely black. When you open them up, split them open and add some "cream" (natural yoghurt with equal or some other sugar substitute added).

It tastes as if there is alcohol in the bananas and that yoghurt tastes very much like cream. I fed it to my grandmother who loves to drink, hates yoghurt and is diabetic! She loved it.

Good luck with hiding the good stuff!

Why is my tooth giving off a sweet metal taste?

I have been getting this metaly plastic taste in my mouth and when i runb my tongue over a certain tooth i can taste it stronger what is it?

Why is my tooth giving off a sweet metal taste?
A metallic taste in the mouth is a common complaint and it's not life threatening.

The most common cause for this is medications, if your taking medication such as -Antibiotics, Anti Depressants, High Blood Pressure Tablets, or meds for Kidney stones.

Oral hygiene also plays a part, if the teeth/gums are not kept clean infections such as gingivitis/.periodontists can leave the mouth with this tatse.

Make an appointment to see your dentist and make sure everything is ok and have him/her put your mnd at rest!

Blood tastes metallic 'cause of the iron, and sweet 'cause of the sugar.
Reply:I went to college with a girl who had this and you could smell it quite strong on her breath, really metally. She ended up just needing a filling on that tooth.
Reply:Its an infection, this can be cured by a trip to the dentist, you may just need a filling thats all.

Why does something sweet make a tooth hurt?

Or mildly cold for that matter...is it the nerve amplifying the pain? Why sweet and not any other flavour??

Why does something sweet make a tooth hurt?
do you have a receding gum line? if so, your nerve may be exposed.
Reply:Your teeth are just sensitive to sweet stuff. Try brushing more and make sure you rinse with mouth wash that prevents sensitivity.

Holidays are near - What's your favorite family dessert that satisfies your sweet t tooth?

I love those Peanut Butter cookies that you press a Hershey kiss into and eat warm. We also do one where you take a graham cracker crust ( pie or baking dish ) and put in a inch or two layer of choc. morsels, another layer of butterscotch morsels and then top with coconut flakes, pour a can of sweetened condensed milk over the whole thing ( to bind ) and bake maybe 30 min's. @ 350 til the coconut starts to brown. My Grandma called them wall to wall calories. Man was she ever smart. If you make them , they harden a little too much for me the next day, so microwave them just a tad and ,OH MAN !!!!

Reply:NEW YORK CHEESECAKE

3 tbsp. cornstarch

3 c. (24 ounces) ricotta cheese

2 tbsp. lemon juice

2 pkgs. (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened

1/2 c. butter, softened

4 eggs, lightly beaten

1-1/2 cups sugar

1 tsp. vanilla extract

2 c. (16 oz.) sour cream

3 tbsp. all-purpose flour

TOPPING:

2 cups (16 ounces each) sour cream

5 tablespoons sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Cherry pie filling ( or any other fruit filling such as blueberry, strawberry, pineapple)

In a large mixing bowl, combine the sugar, cornstarch, ricotta and lemon juice until smooth. Add cream cheese and butter; mix well. Add eggs and vanilla; beat on low speed just until combine. Combine the sour cream, sugar and vanilla. (Do not add cherries at this time.) Carefully spread over cheesecake. Bake 10 minutes longer. Cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes; chill overnight. Remove sides of pan. Top with cherry pie filling. Refrigerate leftovers. Makes 12 servings.

Reply:Baked Alaska, slice Swiss roll with the jam in it and layer using ice cream, after a couple of layers you top with the whipped egg white n sugar mix (to make meringue) and put in a hot oven until the meringue is done to your liking (best when the tips are just going caramel coloured - I think)

Very tasty and very sweet!

How come sweet things give you tooth ache?

My teeth dont hurt until i eat a Polo or a chocolate, i do need a filling, but why does the sugar or sweet stuff make it hurt??

How come sweet things give you tooth ache?
Sweetness activates the nerves going to your tooth and that's why eating chocolate can make your teeth hurt. Hot and cold things also can make your teeth hurt. I would recommend going to see a good dentist before your tooth gets worse and you need root canal-those really suck.

The other tooth may hurt because of referred pain. When one part of your body gets sensitized, it can make some other place in your body hurt. This often happens with teeth.

P.S. I love chocolate too!
Reply:Sugar feeds bacteria. Bacteria produce an acid which eats into your teeth. More sugar - more bacteria - more tooth eating acids - more tooth ache.
Reply:its the glucose/sucrose (sugar) eating away at the infected tooth - a complex reaction with bacteria at the tooth surface, its a fast reaction isnt it !!

I hope that you dont suffer too long and get to a dentist soon :-)

little tip? A product called "Rennie's" in the UK, not sure about the US, its a small tablet to fight acid indigestion.. chew on a small Rennie tablet if it becomes really intense, it will also become a barrier to other sugars, etc coming into contact with the affected part of the tooth... I hope that the toothache does not spoil your hoilday
Reply:You most likely have a cavity. Sweets do not normally cause pain unless there is an exposed nerve. Go see your dentist, and good luck.
Reply:The sugar turns to acid and attacks and erodes the tooth enamel. When you need a filling it hurts as it can then get to the softer stuff under the enamel
Reply:spot on above.

The sugar attacks the enamel on your teeth leading to cavities which then expose the inside of the tooth and nerve endings. Some poeples teeth are more enamel than others giving them more sensitive teeth.
Reply:don't eat sweet things then: ask ur dentist if you have one
Reply:It's all of that darn sugar! That stuff is bad in all forms! sucrose, glucose,etc..
Reply:I've recently started feeling that too. Have you noticed your gums receding a little? That may expose nerves which may make your teeth a little more sensitive to sweet.

Bam... early thirties? Or is it happening too soon for me?
Reply:Well,as your gums receed(for whatever reason),they then become more exposed to nerves..you may need to have your teeth and gums checked out.

OK ,Menina, you must be having my troubles and we must be a little bit into that good old age bracket..:)
Reply:because you have a cavity
Reply:Because your teeth are rotting. Better stop eating those sweets.
Reply:maybe ur teeth are sensitive
Reply:do you have any fillings already, what type of material are they, is the tooth that is hurting near a filling

My 16 yr old recently has acetone breath & is not diabetic. What are reasons for this? She has a sweet tooth.?

This may happen with weight loss/starvation. And unless she's recently been tested for diabetes it might be an idea to have her checked as it can occue at any stage of life.

just tossing this out, but, it's pretty common with meth amphetamine use....
Reply:Acetone breath is a sign of ketosis(fat burning). It can happen if your on the Atkins diet or simply because you haven't eaten or drank enough. But it can be a sign of diabetes too. Has she been tested? You can get a test done at Lloyd's pharmacy for free.

I need to lose 40 pounds in 2 months. I DO NOT have time to excercise. I have a sweet tooth that wont stop.

there is no way you can do that without surgery

I need to lose 40 pounds in 2 months. I DO NOT have time to excercise. I have a sweet tooth that wont stop.
I can't tell you how to lose the weight. but as far as the sweet tooth (which I also have) try drinking something sweet for example hot chocolate or pop. Even though those things still have the sugar %26amp; calories it's not as much as eating a cookie or piece of cake.
Reply:You can starve yourself or you can exercise...and the "I don't have time" is an excuse...do you watch TV? have any down time? no? still, you can incorporate exercise into whatever normal activities you do...walking two miles a day for the two months will take off 10 pounds if you do NOTHING else...add diet and you have 25 - 30
Reply:With each of your meals drink a hot drink with them. I also suggest alot of hot chocolate. Enough hot chocolate and it will turn out to be waste coming out. Sex also burns alot of calories.
Reply:You need to make a decision about what's important to you. You either quit with the eating sweets and stick to a pretty restrictive diet or you stay the weight you are. I mean, there's no miracle out there that's going to do it for you. I think you do have time to exercise, but you haven't made it a priority.
Reply:Reduce eating sweets and eat more fruit and veg. Cut the calories you eat by at least half, yeah, you'll be hungry, but your body will learn to cope.

Also drink a pint of water (or other non sugary/fizzy drink) before each meal, and you'll be full from the water, and not as much from food.
Reply:I need to buy a house. I DO NOT have time to go to work. I don't have any money.
Reply:It is impossible to say you do not have enough time to exercise. I go to school everyday, have clubs after school, have piano, tennis and tons of homework! I get up early each morning and just go for a run! It wakes me up, gets me prepared for the day, and I feel great all day! You DO HAVE TIME TO EXERCISE! Get up just an hour earlier each day, go for a slow 30 minute jog at a comfortable pace, and you'll feel great all day! You then don't have to watch what you eat at all, because when you go running you burn all of those calories! You do not need to watch what you eat at all if you go for atleast a 30 minute run a day.
Reply:Starve yourself. Get liposuction. take laxatives. damn homegirl, your really out of luck. And like they said, you probly do have some time for exersise (I don't care if you wok 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, you can walk to a store at your lunch hour) and just don't want to relize it.

or smoke meth. Tweeking makes you drop waight like crazy. and if you get caught and locked up, you'll have pleanty of time for exersise!

hope your not offended, I didn't mean it against you. but thats like me saying, "I want to make a million bucks in 4 hours without an computer or anything" as in, not likley.
Reply:you can GAIN 40 pounds in 2 months
Reply:Sometimes it's not the fact that it's sweet. It might have more to do with the portion sizes of the sweets you're eating. Try carrying the tiny tootsie rolls with you and when you absolutley must have something sweet, use that or something similar. Hard candy is also an option but it doesn't provide the "chewiness" that most sweets provide. A friend of mine used this technique and found sugarless chewing gum worked. I personally like tootsie rolls. :) Just choose something that's very small. Be strict with your portion control of sweets. An entire pie is no sweeter than one bite.

Try low fat, low calorie versions of the foods. If you drink sweet coffee, use Splenda instead of sugar, 1% milk instead of cream.

I hate to disagree with a previous poster but you really want to stay away from all sweet drinks! That's one of the quickest ways to gain weight! The "sweet tooth" is, more often than not, related to the textures of high fat, high calorie foods than the actual sugar content. Drinking sweets is not the same as eating them. Drink as much water as possible.

I know you don't have time to exercise but you might be able to make some little adjustments that will make a great difference. Try to walk or bicycle as opposed to driving. Take the stairs instead of the elevator.

It's all a matter of accounting, basically. If you expend more energy than you consume, you'll lose weight. Very small steps can make a huge difference though.

The bad news is that 40 pounds in 2 months is unrealistic. There is no healthful way to do it. At the most, you will want to lose no more than 2 lbs per week. If you can do that, (and that's a very strict diet with lots of exercise) you can lose 16 pounds in 8 weeks.
Reply:Everyone has time to exercise--walk during your lunch break, park your car at the back of the lot and walk in, take the stairs instead of the elevator, etc... The little things do add up!!

As for the sweet tooth, you just need to get some willpower--once you stop, after a while you'll find you stop craving it (for the time being try fruits)
Reply:You want the impossible. You can't lose weight without exercise, and you DO have time if you make it a priority in life.
Reply:It just isn't healthy to loose 40 pounds in 2 months - sorry. I think your heart would probably give out and your skin would sag horribly because it wouldn't have the appropriate time to adjust to its new physique.

Stay AWAY from sugary drinks - people don't realize how many calories are in a cup of coffee or hot chocolate! Think of them as cookies, in liquid form. Soda also consists of high fructose corn syrup, which is bad, bad, bad.

Drink more water - half the time when you think you're hungry, it's actually your body telling you that it's thirsty. Boost your exercise routine - 40-60 minutes a day of something, ANYTHING will put you on the right track. Even a walk around town or something will help. Don't eat 2 hours before you go to bed. And don't skip breakfast, it boosts your metabolism. Eat something like raisin bran or non-instant oatmeal. It'll fill you up (and wake you up!)

This won't make you loose 40 pounds in 2 months, but it's a safe, healthy way to KEEP the weight off. Because what sucks more than gaining weight again?

Good luck! :)
Reply:With diet change and a fitness program, you can most likely lose about 16 pounds, 2 pounds a week, more or less.

With all the fad diets you could lose more, but you will just be losing water weight and muscle mass, and then put it back on twofold when you go back to old habits.
Reply:The most you can loose would be 20lbs, and that depends on how much you weigh right now. If you begin to do any form of exercise you will speed up your metabolism, the more weight you loose the more it takes to see the weight loss because your body gets accustomed to the routine and it takes more to burn the same amount of calories.

Drink plenty of water. As for the sweet tooth, drink flavored tea, and add splenda that's zero calories! eat fruit, and write down everything you eat, even a little piece of candy. Aim for high fiber foods, and drink plenty of water.

Exercise definitely has to be a part of the equation...Sorry!!

What would be a good, healthy SNACK treat idea for a DOG who has a SWEET tooth?

But my dog really likes: cooked corn on the cob, baby carrots and her very favorite is when I smear some natural Peanut butter on the inside of her hollow bone. She will even get the bone and carry it into the kitchen to set it down in front of the cupboard (or my lap)
Reply:PetSmart carries Yogurt drops for dogs. They seem to enjoy them immensly. They even have them in a chocolate flavor. But you can give them just plain yogurt to. Not to much, just enough to settle the craving.

Reply:My lab LOVED any kind of berry (she even stood under the bush when I picked raspberries and caught the extras in her mouth), melon, apple, carrots and pears. She'd even eat left over salad and loved vinagrette dressings. I didn't give her grapes though; the vet recommended she stay away from them.
Reply:Try doing a search for "dog treat recipes molasses" or "dog treat recipes honey" for some recipes you can make at home that are a little sweeter. Honey and molasses are better for a dog than refined sugar, but they are still forms of sugar and you should give these treats sparingly.

Something that is sweet but fairly healthy and low fat could be fruits (no grapes) such as apples, bananas, melons, and carrots (I know, not a fruit, but a relatively sweet veggie).
Reply:Carrots and Apples(no leaves, stems or core) both of these are great for dogs and they usually love them! However, NEVER, NEVER%26lt; NEVER feed a dog grapes or raisins as these are known to cause renal failure! Going natural is so much better, healthier and cheaper than "Special" doggie treats at a Pet speciality store. Tip: To make the above mentioned treats even more fun try freezing them first for the dogs to chew on.
Reply:PEANUTBUTTER is the best get JEFF peanutbutter with honey. my dog koby goes CRAZY for it you can train a dog with the peanutbutter or you can give it to them as a treat and it leaves my koby's breath smell like peanutbutter with honey.

I want to lose weight and fast but how can I get rid of my sweet tooth craving and Dr.Pepper addiction?

I had a mountain dew addiction and a friend told me to start substituting unsweet tea. Has no calories and now that I am used to it, mountain dew tastes syrupy. The best part is that since tea has a little caffeine, no withdrawal headaches. I lost 5 pounds in one week just by cutting out the soda. Once that happened, it motivated me to cut out the sweets as well.

I want to lose weight and fast but how can I get rid of my sweet tooth craving and Dr.Pepper addiction?
You don't, because then you pig out when you do get it. You have to cut back and try smaller amounts and less often. For example, get a 20oz bottle of dr. pepper and pour it into a four ounce paper cup then have a glass of water for the rest of your drink with your meal. If you can control yourself to only drink 4oz of soda with a meal instead of an entire can, you have just cut back a lot. Get mini candy bars and put 2 in a ziplock bag. Only allow yourself those two small candy bars each time instead of an entire candy bar or a bag of candy.
Reply:Work out like a horse.
Reply:The Dr. Pepper addiction is a three-pronged problem, based on sugar, caffeine, and taste.

Wean yourself off caffeine, search for alternate caffeine sources (like coffee or tea, which don't taste as good, but have less sugar IF you add only a small amount to them), or quit cold turkey and deal with the awful caffeine withdrawal headache for a day or so.

You really should save caffeine for when you really need it, like, say, when you have a migraine. The rest of the time, you need to get your sleep and schedule in order so that you're not relying on caffeine to keep you alert.

As far as the sugar goes, an easy way to cut down sugar intake is to eat your sugar rather than drink it (and NO high fructose corn syrup! Read labels...it's all over the place. But you can avoid it.) Eat fruit, eat candy made with sugar, eat chocolate, but DON'T DRINK SODA.

It has been proven in studies that sugar that is eaten in food is much more satisfying than sugar that is drunk in beverages. Also, carbonated liquids need more sugar than still beverages (which is why Gatorade has 50 calories for 8 ounces, whereas colas have about 100.)

Try sugar-sweetened sodas for those dire soda cravings (Jones Green Apple soda, while higher in sugar than most sodas, seems to curb cravings. I don't know if it's the flavor or the real sugar in it, but it works.)

If you can stand it, try a low-carb (NOT no-carb) diet. Veggies, proteins, some whole grains. A little fruit. Make your carbs count, and you won't be trapped in the sugar rush-sugar crash cycle.

If some simple dietary changes don't help, go to the doc and make sure you don't have any hormonal issues. Blood sugar problems can make it extremely hard to lose weight and can make you have terrible cravings.

And if you must, drink caffeine-free Dr. Pepper. Regular, I mean. Tastes good, at least won't feed you extra caffeine.

Edit: I mean carbonated beverages need more sugar to overcome the acidity of the carbonation. Ever notice that flat soda tastes sweeter than fizzy? That's because the acidity from the bubbles is gone and it tastes crazy sweet.

So no carbonated beverages. Unless you want to drink club soda, which is nasty.

I don't recommend that.
Reply:Hello. I have a solution to your problem.

Diet Dr. Pepper can lose you 7 lbs a week or more. But, if you drink many a day, you will still get the effects of drinking one Dr. Pepper.

For your sweet tooth craving, try low fat and/or 0% fat alternatives. Low fat or caloriefree items can help you eat great food but still lose weight. If you want a small meal that is not sweet, I recommend any of the Smart Ones meals. Go to your local groceries and look for TV dinners that is made specifically to help people like you lose weight.

Slim Fast has many drinks (my favorite is Chocolate. I drink it even though I'm thin as a horse. Shh!). If you like Chocolate Milk or Strawberry Shakes.. whatever, you can find low calorie and low fat solutions with Slim Fast.

Today i felt like i could eat 12 candy bars and the wrappers they came in!!!! lol. I've tried fruit, yogurt, etc.... nothing cures it except chocolate and i cant have that. HELP!

Im on a diet.... what can i do to get rid of a sweet tooth?
Candy bars are completely devoid of anything that helps your body. Have a glass of water. There may also be minerals that your body is really asking for. A friend of mine believes in herbal teas to satisfy cravings and to take in trace minerals. Start with raspberry leaf. You might find some bitter tastes to get your mind off sweet things. Our north american diet is far to reliant on sweet and salty tastes. Even when we have coffee, I'm not recommending this, we spoil the bitter taste with sugar!
Reply:You can have chocolate on a diet but in small amounts. One DARK chocolate hershey's mini would be fine. (Dark is the only chocolate that is actually good for you)

1 quart chocolate ice-cream, softened

1 quart vanilla ice-cream, softened

44 chocolate chip cookies (chips ahoy works best)

Next, pour the chocolate syrup on the crust and get the rest of the cookies and make a border around the edge. Freeze for 15 more minutes. Get the vanilla ice-cream, and place on top of the crust. Smooth it out. Freeze for 25 minutes. Make a layer, and put the chocolate ice-cream on top of the vanilla ice-cream. Smooth it out. Freeze for 25 more minutes. Before serving, take it out for 10 minutes to thaw. Optional-Drizzle more chocolate syrup on top of the chocolate ice-cream for a fancier look.

If you go long periods between meals or skip meals you blood sugar crash, it makes you crave sugar for the quick energy. the vitamin B answer is also correct. if you feel a big sugar crave and you have missed a meal or it is close to time, your craving can be lessened or stopped by protein, peanut butter, mixed nuts, or a couple of ounces of cheese anything you can find or carry with you that has a lot of protein in it. This is especially true if you crave chocolate more than just anything sweet, if this helps you then research low blood sugar or hypoglycemia on Web MD.
Reply:vitamin B complex

eating a lot of sugar stops these vitamins from working.

Not enough B vitamins can cause sores in the cracks of your mouth and/or a sore tongue.

What wines would you recommend for someone like who have a 'sweet tooth'?

I just can't stand the taste ot those wines out there. What would you suggest, expensive types and budget types?

What wines would you recommend for someone like who have a 'sweet tooth'?
I feel the same way. I hate wine because I see and think grape juice, but it tastes nothing like grape juice. I stumbled on a brand that is called Muscat Wine. MOst of them have a low alcohol content so they are less Winey.
Reply:Mabey Chardney of some sort or a blush wine made by martini it looks expensive if you didnt know you would never know it about 15.00-20.00 dollars
Reply:Oooh, Riesling. It's a sweet white wine, originally from Germany. I usually spend $10-$15 on wine, and I have yet to meet a bottle of Riesling I didn't like. If you can find a bottle, dandelion wine is almost too sweet, and I have the biggest sweet tooth on this planet.

Or you can indulge in the pleasures of the $5 bottle of blackberry wine. Don't judge me!
Reply:I had that problem when I first started drinking wine, and although some may disagree I found this wine called Catawba and boy is it sweet. (at least in the wine world), the one I got was pink, but I think there might be others.
Reply:apple wines and meads, perhaps.

any dessert wine should work, they're pretty yummy and come in intriguing flavours (raspberry, etc).
Reply:Dessert wines tend to have sweeter, fruitier tastes. Though, it's not going to be as sweet as candy. Usually port wines fall in this category. In my opinion, Australia port wines are the best in the world.
Reply:black berry
Reply:Eis wein (Ice wine) is smooth and sweet I love it and I think u will too =D.
Reply:Try Port...
Reply:I'm the same, any Verdelho (I think thats how it,spelt) would suit your taste my favourite is Houghtons Late Picked Verdelho also anything with the words 'late picked' or 'late harvest' will be sweet
Reply:Try a fruit wine. When I first started drinking wine, and even now sometimes, that's what I did.

Two brands that I particularly liked:

Sweet Pea - An Apple and Peach wine blend

Huck - Huckleberry wine!!

Good luck!
Reply:You could try a pudding wine, I usually get moscatel, it's not expensive by most peoples standard. For me expensive is more than 4 euros a bottle.
Reply:Well, if you're talking about sticking to wine, most liquor stores sell Arbor Mist and an especially sweet wine known as Boones Farm. I hate the tastes of dry wines myself, so these are the only ones I'd touch. Usually priced from $7-10.
Reply:Port wines are very sweet but remind me more of a cordial than a wine
Reply:You're after sweeter wines to please your sweet tooth, right?

Gewürztraminer is a great wine that is sweeter.

Dessert wines with botrytis wine styles are sweet and delicious. They are also sometimes known as sticky wines.

Also many Spätlese wines are sweet too.

If you want a sweet red, then go for a sweet (not dry) Rose or a sweet Lambrusco.

These all have a range of wines to cater for all budgets. Spatlese and Lambrusco are often very cheap.
Reply:If you want really sweet wine here are two types for you.

Muscat (pronounced "mos cat a") is a very sweet desert type wine and comes in many different price ranges.

Icewine is another very sweet wine that is made from grapes frozen on the vine before they have fully matured, so they have very concentrated sugars. It can also be found in several price ranges and brands.
Reply:Dessert wines would be the way to go.

Try a botrytis wine or a tokay or an ice wine.

They come in small bottles. So, although they can be high quality, the price can be pretty reasonable. There is a wide range of quality and/ price available.

All very tasty!!
Reply:I would suggest a Late Harvest wine such as a moselle, but if you are after something almost 'sickly' sweet i'd suggest a sticky or fortified wine. good examples of this in australia would be the stella bella late harvest pink.

Late harvest means the grapes are picked just before they turn rotten, this is when the grapes are most sweetest.

Just go to your nearest bottle shop/ liqueur store that has a great selection of wines and ask the person at the counter for their selection. Some specialised liquor stores have a Sommelier on hand to help you with any wine related questions.
Reply:Duplin wines from North Carolina are pretty sweet. They are made from muscadine and scuppernong grapes. These grapes are found naturally in NC. Port wine is sweet also.
Reply:Icewines and Vintage ports would fit into the expensive types. Any Ontario icewine can set you back anywhere from $50 Canadian through to a couple of thousand dollars, depending on where you buy it from. Vintage ports that I like are ones with a date back into the 1980's.

In terms of budget types, I would look for late harvest wines, also from Ontario, Canada. Most of the wineries in Ontario will make both a late harvest and an icewine. Just check out their websites and find one you think this "someone" will like. The easiest way to find a link to everyone's website is to go to the following website which will show a complete listing:

http://www.ontariowinesociety.com/links/...
Reply:Sutter Home has an inexpensive Muscat that is sweet. Other sweet wines that are good would be Riesling (not as sweet though), Ports, and Asti Spumantes, which are sweet sparkling wines.

I want to have a get to gether with a few friends and I want to have something different than the usual of finger foods.

What is the best summer meal and what for the sweet tooth?
Girl, Now you know that it is Bar-B-Q and chitlins oh and some coolard greens Girl, and for the sweet tooth some nice juicey watermelon
Reply:The best thing to have is some black eyed peas, mustard greens and cornbread. For something sweet, get a cantelope very cold. that is the best thing to have. Report It

Reply:Anything off the grill baby!! pork chops, chicken, burgers, even corn cobs are great off the grill.

And for tyhe sweet tooth, nothing is better than fruit in the summertime! MMM... watermelon...strawberries, raspberries... you name it!
Reply:turnips
Reply:Steak, corn on the cob, baked potato with sour cream, Caesar salad.

For dessert, chocolate pudding mixed with instant coffee, and topped with Whipped cream
Reply:A fruit salad is sweet yet fairly healthy. Use fresh fruit, and perhaps some nuts like pecans or walnuts. If using bananas put in a little bit of lemon juice so the bananas don't turn brown. Also you can add coconut to a fruit salad. it makes it sweet, and tastes good.
Reply:BBQ Chicken, Potato salad, corn on the cob!

Or do shish-kabobs!

I use steak,shrimp,purple onion,mushrooms,tomato,

Red %26amp; Green Peppers.

Another great skewer is chicken and pinapple with shrimp!

Buy wooden skewers. Soak them in water for 20-30 minutes.

Cut up veggies and meat into same sized chunks.

Put on skewers, Brush with garlic butter and grill for 20-40

minutes on med-low! Easy and great! No clean up!
Reply:Here's the easiest thing for the sweet tooth....

Blueberries and fresh pineapple (in chunks)

Marinate over night in maple syrup

Place on skewers

Grill for about five minutes or until the pineapple has caramelized.

Serve with vanilla ice cream and drizzle a little maple syrup over the dish.

Here is a site that I love and it has tons of fun and different ideas.

Something different for a summer meal....(it involves the grill or stove top)

Shrimp boil with corn on the cob and a strawberry or Mandarin orange spinach salad.

Although i've lost 10 kgs i cant controll my sweet tooth now n fear putting on weight again.please help?
chew sugar-free gum everytime you crave something sweet, or drink some green tea sweetened with splenda
Reply:have one or tewo sweets like candy near the begining of the day so you can burn off the sweets
Reply:When I lost weight, I had an enormous sweet tooth as well. I chew gum because it gives me something sweet to chew on. After a while desserts in moderation we're ok. I still go through months when I decide to give up a paticular thing that isn't good for me, i.e. this month I gave up pizza. Go a month with an occasional dessert, maybe once a week. Then have no desserts the next week.
Reply:you CAN control it!

GET RID of all the candy and soda in your house, and THROW IT AWAY! You don't need to "save" it for later.

Stock up on your favorite sweet fruits for when you have a

craving. Mango's, bananas, and different berries are great!

If you put some berries in a small bowl with some cool whip on top, you've got desert.

For drinks don't buy sweet juices, those contain just as much sugar as sodas. Buy the V05 vegetable and fruit juices, they're really good, and good for you. I like the tropical one.

Also keep bottled water around to take on the go. If you really don't like the taste of water, buy those crystal light on the go packets. They're really good.

At parties where they have candy and deserts, pick 1 thing that you want and have a small portion of that, it should be able to fit in your hand when you make a "C" shape.

you can do itt!
Reply:EAT BANANAS, IT WILL ASSIST IN TAKING THE URGE FOR THE SWEETS.

What are some low calorie ways to satisfy a sweet tooth?

Any of the 100 Calorie Packs are good, they also have the 100 calorie cupcakes now - My favorite thing now is the Quaker mini delights (rice cakes). The chocolatey drizzle and the cinnamon swirl one - THEY are great and only 90 calories. You could find them in any supermarket or even in target or walmart.

What are some low calorie ways to satisfy a sweet tooth?
I like sugar free popsicles.
Reply:buy some regular hard candy. you don't save much by buying the sugar free variety. sucking on hard candy can satisfy a sweet tooth without adding lots of calories. also sucking on a hershey's kiss satisfies the chocolate craving without lots of calories.
Reply:Eat fruits
Reply:100 calorie packet of chips ahoy, oreos...They are yummy!
Reply:Make a fruit smoothie with one small scoop of low cal/low fat vanilla ice cream, a banana, and some strawberries. The fruit really helps and makes it better for you.
Reply:Eat plenty of fruit. If you drink diet drinks that will cause you to crave sweets more........stop them.
Reply:sugar-free jello fruit with fat-free whipped cream
Reply:I find fruit flavored yogurt does the trick! There are different types now, including whipped textures. There are some chocolate flavors, along with banana cream. YUM!

Also, try soy protein snacks. The apple cinammon flavor is very good!
Reply:Learn to eat lots of fruit. Fresh fruit is loaded with nutrients, low in fat an calories, and it's also loaded with sugar.
Reply:Try having some flavoured rice cakes. Snack a jacks come in caramel flavour (and are 51 cals each), chocolate flavour is 61 cals each. They are quite filling also.
Reply:You know I would go to http://wharris1.qhealthzone.com/ and look at the XS it is what I use for my energy and I have lost 33 lbs since this April and I have so much energy I don't want the day to end and I can really afford to stay with it. Where other things are sooo expensive you give up... It even taste wonderful I personally like Cran-Grape one it taste just like grape soda with no harmful things in it. The vit B-12 in it is 4900% which if you remember in the old days was how woman lost all their weight with a B-12 shot daily.... Ok I wish you luck and hope you do great
Reply:fruit . . . frozen yogurt (as opposed to ice cream) . . . but the main way is to just watch your portion sizes . . . you can eat the regular Chips Ahoy!, but only eat ONE serving (which i believe is 3 cookies) . . . reserve higher calorie sweets for special occasions

Is diabetes gods way of punishing people with a sweet tooth?

type 2 of course....

Is diabetes gods way of punishing people with a sweet tooth?
gluttony = deadly sin

so since so many fundies seem to think AIDS, STD's, etc are all punishments, why not...oh i know why....there's alot of them that have type 2 and are the average fatty American...THAT couldn't possibly be a sin could it?
Reply:no...lol
Reply:Like AIDS is a punishment for homosexuals? I don't believe in God. so my answer is no.
Reply:Some believers will use that as an excuse to claim that god is punishing people. Just like how people claim AIDS is gods way of punishing gay people and yet in the same breath tell someone else that god is a loving god.
Reply:You don't get diabetes by eating too many sweets.
Reply:WHAT IS THERE THAT IS NOT SWEET

Can anyone name 10 food items that have no sugar content?

It just puts these on the search for all that is not sweets and starch, a small soy patti, small amount of pinto beans, some greens.

The organ in the human body that handles sugar correctly, malfunctions for type 2, does not function for type 1. As thyroid can cease to function and also other glands ans organs.
Reply:You obviously have a lot to learn about diabetes and its causes.
Reply:i read some stupid thing in yahoo answer but this got to be the one that tops everything. You are assuming that god even cares about you. The longer you live in this planet the more you realize that something is seriously wrong with this place. If god went to a being a god intervew, the boss would not even let him in the front door.
Reply:Diabetes does not come from eating sweets!!!!!!

God is a good God!!!!!!!!!!!!

God don't punish like that!
Reply:Doubt it. Even it it was sugar, potatoes are nearly as bad. If it was sugar, spending your younger days drinking the canned or bottled products of cola companies and the prevalence of type 2 may be not entirely without explanation. Actually one New Zealand scientist suggests dairy products, particularly casein may be a factor. Since NZ is a major dairy product producer, that makes him real popular.
Reply:Time and unforeseen occurrence befall them all.

Ecclesiastes 9:11..... I returned to see under the sun that the swift do not have the race, nor the mighty ones the battle, nor do the wise also have the food, nor do the understanding ones also have the riches, nor do even those having knowledge have the favor; because time and unforeseen occurrence befall them all.

Job 34:10......Therefore, YOU men of heart, listen to me.

Far be it from the [true] God to act wickedly,

And the Almighty to act unjustly!
Reply:Yes! And the traffic ticket I got this morning was God's punishment for my lead foot, and the diarrhea I had this weekend was God's punishment for me eating Taco Bell, and the boogers I have in my eye are there because of the dirty look that came out of it toward that guy who cut me off, and I have to pay $80 to deworm my cat because God is punishing me for buying a lottery ticket.

Thanks for clearing that up. I thought my diabetes was a inherited insulin resistant trait I got from my father. Silly me!
Reply:LMAO that would be like aids being gods way of punishing people who love sex. My mother was never one for sweets, yet she has Type 2 diabetes. Getting diabetes has nothing to do with how much sugar you eat. Its a combination of many factors, race, nutrition, weight, etc...(for example:it's more likely for those of Native American heritage to get it). So it's always a good idea to take good care of yourself if you want to steer clear of getting Type 2 diabetes.
Reply:Why blame God for man's stupidity??

In the old testament we are given dietary laws, clean and unclean, etc...

this was/is for everyone...it is not a Jewish thing, it is not a Hebrew old testament thing, everyone has the same tummy and digestive system....

man eats that which is unclean...man was not supposed to eat that stuff...man was created vegetarian and after the flood a small amount of "clean" animal for food....

so today we are consuming pig, dairy, clam, lobster, etc.

unclean foods, processed foods, glow in the dark chemicals, preservatives, food dyes, sugar in anything and everything, etc...

VERY Bad eating habits, obesity, and ignorance causes diabetes ....

Why is it God's fault when man refuses to listen and gets sick??

Have you ever watched the movie "Super Size Me?" it is a documentary of a guy who ate nothing but McDonald's stuff for 30 days ...it would have killed him if he had not stopped....it took over 6 months to get his health almost back to normal....
Reply:Deuteronomy 32:4: “The Rock, perfect is his activity, For all his ways are justice. A God of faithfulness, with whom there is no injustice; Righteous and upright is he.”

Job 34:10: “Therefore, YOU men of heart, listen to me. Far be it from the [true] God to act wickedly, And the Almighty to act unjustly!”

Yes, since Jehovah God is perfect in every way; since Jehovah’s ways are justice; since Jehovah does not act wickedly or unjustly, He is not the cause of the suffering that takes place on earth today. That includes, diabetes, natural disasters, deaths of children, and the list is endless.

Therefore, who is really to blame for the suffering that takes place today? Humans are to blame for much of the suffering. They fight wars, commit crimes, pollute the environment, often carry on business in a manner motivated by greed rather than concern for their fellowman, and sometimes indulge in habits that they know can be harmful to their health.

In the case of diabetes, a couple of the causes of this disease are an improper diet and lack of exercise. One’s food intake can be off-balanced. There must be balance in what you eat, drink or even the activities that you engage in. Children who develop type 2 diabetes is because when they eat, they either sit in their room or on the living room couch watching televisions for long hours or playing video games for hours at a time. Since no proper exercise is being done within that period of time, serious health problems can result. Therefore, is it reasonable to blame God for these things that humans themselves do?

Galatians 6:7: “For whatever a man is sowing, this he will also reap.” Yes, you reap what you sow. You have a bad diet, lack time for exercising, spend long hours in front of the television or computer, you bring about health problems of you own doing, not God. Something to think about.
