How do you deal with a sweet-tooth?

I have a crazy, incredibly high-love (and tolerance) for sugar and chocolate.

Unfortunately, this isn't so good for my health. I'm not over-weight, but I'm afraid that if I keep continueing this high-sugar diet, I'll be in trouble!

How do you keep a sweet tooth satisfied, without indulging too much on candy/chocolate?

How do you deal with a sweet-tooth?
eat lots of candy
Reply:Buy REALLY good quality chocolate then just treat yourself to one square after dinner (or whenever you get your sugar craving) Nibble it slowly and make it last - if it's really good you will feel satisfied after one piece.

Also, console yourself with the fact that dark chocolate is full of antioxidants and is actually very good for you in moderate quantities!

Or exercise regularly, and you can then treat yourself a bit more often and not feel guilty!
Reply:diabetes, high blood sugar? enough motivation to kick your habit?

Seriously you have to think of what the junk does to your body in the long run beside the short term satisfaction.

Try substituting it with something healthy like fruit i have some healthy snacks http://myfitmate.blogspot.com/ feel free to browse (under ecipes)

good luck
Reply:Chocolate isn't bad for you, the sugar in it is, so you could always just go for low-carb (e.g, sugar free) chocolates that are sweetened with Splenda or Asapartame. It might take a little getting used to, but they're not bad tasting at all.

Or you could eat fruits.
Reply:go to the store and buy all your favorites.... like a lot of them im talking like 20 Snickers bars... then eat till you barf, then eat your barf... next day repeat only this time eat Reese's or something different... if you make it to day 3 chances are you probably wont be craving chocolate all that much...and if you are... take your favorite candy/chocolate and replace every meal with it and instead of drinking melt down the chocolate and drink that, do this for 2 weeks.

I was never allowed to eat candy or chocolate as a kid so i never really liked it (thanks mom %26amp; dad, no cavities and perfect teeth gotta love it), now that im older i sometimes treat my self to godiva chocolates, you get so little for so much $, but its way worth it, i recomend anything in dark.
