Easy, Inexpensive, Sweet-tooth recipes 4 kids?

Hi! Im babysitting for a 4 yr old, this summer, and thought it would be a cool idea to bake something with her!

My first thought, was to make something, like, Chex Mix Muddy Buddies.. Only, she doesn't like chocolate...

I could easily buy a bag of cookie mix.. But i would rather stick to my original idea. This way, we dont have to worry about her and the oven.

If anybody has an inexpensive idea, similar to Muddy Buddies, I could REALLY use your suggestions. THANK-YOU, GUYS!

(The link to Chex Mix Muddy Buddies are @ the bottom.)

Reply:You should buy a cake mix and some frosting. It is inexpensive, fun, easy, and delicious! Cake mixes come in many different flavors so you don't have to worry about the chocolate! Have fun!
Reply:RICE CRISPY TREATS

1 or 2 bags miniature marshmallows

1 tablespoon butter

2 cups Kellogg's Rice Crispy Cereal

Melt butter in a saucepan. Add marshmallows.

Stir until mixture becomes difficult to stir any more. Mix in the Rice Crispy Cereal and stir until hot.

Butter a pan (a square pan like a brownie pan) and spread mixture evenly in the pan. Allow to cool and cut into squares.
Reply:The easiest dessert I have made is mixing one can of vanilla frosting with the same amount of peanut butter, put on wax paper and cut in squares. It tastes just like peanut butter candy you usually cook on the stove
Reply:Well, you can't really go wrong with a cake mix. And you can substitute the oil for applesauce- turns out great- can't taste the difference at all. Kids adore cupcakes. She can help decorate too. If you have a good mixer handy, a homemade frosting is super easy and quick to put together. If not, the "whipped" canned frostings are pretty good. Other than baking- frozen juice bars are real inexpensive- and you can make those from sugar-free juice. Frozen bananas on a stick are a hit at my house. If she doesn't like chocolate, she might like it dipped in melted white chocolate. Coat first, put on wax paper, and freeze. Great for a summer day!
Reply:This is easy and my kids make it all the time....
