Actually if you are dieting and are craving for something sweet, the best thing is for you to go ahead and have something. Not a huge candy bar, or an entire carton of ice cream. Just a little something to get you over the cravings hump. If you don't fulfill that craving sooner or later it is going to overwhelm you and guess what? You are going to go overboard and pig out like crazy. Then you are going to feel like a failure and possibly give up altogether your dieting. I should know. I lost over 100 pounds by eating sensibly but also giving in a little bit to my cravings. Hang in there you can do it !!!
I have a sweet tooth today and i am trying to eat right i need help to stay away form the sweets?
much on carrots. Trust me. You might not be in the mood for them but once you start chewing you can't stop and they are filled with nutrients %26amp; are low-calories. I had them the other day when I was craving sweets and they helped. And if you must then have a small cookie or some crackers. [Ritz works!!!]
Reply:Chew gum, or eat some fruit. Both are sweet, and are healthier than a lot of other junk! I do that all the time, because I have the same problem you do...
=]
Reply:Eat some Sweet Frut
Reply:if you have to indulge ,try a fudgesicle. they are fat free %26amp; only have 60 calories.
Reply:Hold your hands out in front of you, cross your arms over your chest, and put your hands under your arms, remove your hands, smell them and say, "SUPERSTAR!!!"
Reply:Try to substitute bad sweets with good sweets. Water melon is good...not very filling however, Apples, nashi pears anything juicy and sweet will help your cravings! Plus instead of getting a quick burst of energy from lollies ect the release is much more slow with fruit keeping you going for longer!
Reply:Try a high fiber low-calorie cereal with vanilla soymilk. (like raisin bran) Not only will it fill your craving and belly but, it is also good for you.
Reply:This may sound strange, but try drinking a glass of ice water with lemon juice. For some reason that always seems to satisfy my sweet tooth when it gets out of control.
Reply:You take to 1 graham cracker and split in the middle, place Cool Whip Free on one half place the other half on type. Like an ice cream sandwhich.....wrap in plastic wrap and freeze for a late night low fat treat. Great for the summer.....
Reply:shredded wheat with 1/2 c. dry oatmeal on top and instead of milk, try oj on top.
Reply:Have something small like a herseys kiss. Or, maybe get a cup of coffee with a teaspoon of sugar (only 16 calories) and a little milk.
If you deprive yourself too much, you're body will keep craving until it finally gets something sweet. Have something small.
Reply:Cranberry juice, it curbs the sweet tooth cravings naturally! Try CranPeach or grape or raspberry. They all work. Or try yogurt.
