after basketball I have terrible cravings for sugar. Is there any way for me curve the craving

Sweet tooth after excersising?
It is your body's way of saying it needs to replace the nutrients it lost during exercise. The best thing would be to have some food that consists of simple carbohydrate and protein.
Reply:you might be diabetic or borderline talk to your doctor about this sometimes thats the only symptoms
Reply:Drink some gatorade or just a few jellybeans.


Or if its meal time, try some complex carbs, because they take longer to digest.
Reply:Maybe you should maybe get your blood-sugar tested. Hope its not hypoglycemia.





Some crazy bastard at testosterone.net once said that for bodybuilders they should eat sugar after lifting because it stimulates insuline response which is supposed to help muscle recovery. -All of which sounds crazy if you ask me.





Probably the best thing to consume right after exercise is like a whey protein drink.
