Sweet Tooth, how can I stop my cravings for sweets, chocolates, etc?

I tend to graze all day rather than eat meals, although I do eat a light healthy meal in the evening. I am of average weight for my height and age but really want to cut down on the sweets I eat all day at work, sitting at a desk on a pc

Sweet Tooth, how can I stop my cravings for sweets, chocolates, etc?
i often crave for something sweet, so i make sure i always have something around that isn't too bad for me but will satisfy the craving. mini choolate bars or things like werthers original do the trick.

I tried cutting them out completely, but that just made me stressed and i ended up binging.

hope you find something that works for you. trial and error
Reply:Chew on a pen
Reply:Take up smoking.....kidding!

Just melt em all down in a pan and see that they're just sugar and water...enough to make anyone sick!

Chew Gum-sugar free.
Reply:Every time you feel like it try eating a sweet fruit instead.
Reply:I love sugar too. I find when you don't eat it, the glycogen level in your body drops and you don't crave it. It takes a couple of days.
Reply:Don't keep them at your desk! Chew gum instead or drink flavored water or have sugar free hard candies.

Also, if you stop cold turkey, it's hard for the first few days but after that you don't crave them at all!
Reply:try mints instaed some people even brush theyre teeth when they feel the need for sweets and it goes away good luck
Reply:Try fruit instead.

The cravings are caused when your blood sugar level drops. You want more sugar to bring it back up again. That works fine in the short run, but your blood sugar level looks like a bouncing ball. Fruit or a complex carbohydrate will take longer to get the sugar into your bloodstream, but the level will last longer. It takes a day or 2 to get the sugar out of your system, so be patient but persistent.
Reply:Give up all sugars and carbs for a solid 3 weeks. After that, you'll have no cravings for munchies. But, just like with smoking, you'll still have to deal with the addiction to the act (ie, with smoking, the addiciton will leave, but going out for a smoke break or holding a cig in your hand might still be habitual).
Reply:Power-Pops. They are amazing!!!
Reply:Boots do low calorie chocolates and sweets
