Major Sweet Tooth Craving...?

I have like no cookies, cakes, ice-cream or anything. (we just had company that wiped us out of everything!) Any Ideas on what to eat or any recipes, we have just about everything to bake...

Major Sweet Tooth Craving...?
Balloon Biscuits











¼ c. sugar





½ tsp. cinnamon





2 Tbsp. margarine





4 large marshmallows





8 refrigerator biscuits, not baked,or 4 grand size biscuits, cut in half





8 paper liner cups








Preheat oven to 450°.





Place paper liners in muffin tin.





Stir sugar and cinnamon together in a small bowl.





Set aside.





Place margarine in liquid measuring cup.





Heat in microwave for 40-45 seconds.





Stir margarine when melted.





On a very lightly floured surface, flatten each biscuit by hand.





Dip kitchen scissors in flour and cut each marshmallow in half.





Dip marshmallows in margarine, then roll in cinnamon/sugar mixture.





Place one marshmallow half in center of flattened biscuit.





Wrap the biscuit around the marshmallow, pinching edges together to completely seal.





Dip the entire biscuit in melted butter and roll in cinnamon/sugar mixture.





Put in paper liner with pinched side down.





Bake 8-10 minutes.





YIELD: 8 balloon biscuits

make shortcrust pastry using 8oz flour/4oz marg and line a baking tray with it.


spread Jam evenly over pastry.


Make sponge mix 4oz flour 4oz fat 4 oz sugar 2 eggs, little milk. Mix in blender and add few drops of almond essence. Pour evenly over baking sheet. bake in oven Gas Mark 5 (moderate oven) until cooked. sprinkle over icing sugar or ice when cool. Cut into slices and you,ve a good supply of cakes for your sweet tooth.

INGREDIENTS





* 2 (8 ounce) cans refrigerated crescent roll dough


* 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese


* 1 cup white sugar


* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


* 1/2 cup margarine, melted


* 1/4 cup white sugar


* 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon





DIRECTIONS





1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch pan.


2. Press one can of the crescent rolls into the bottom of the prepared pan. In a medium bowl, mix together the cream cheese, 1 cup of sugar, and vanilla until smooth and creamy. Spread over the crescent layer. Unroll the second can of crescent rolls and lay them on top of the cream cheese layer. Do not press down. Pour the melted margarine over the entire pan. Combine the remaining 1/4 cup of sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over the top.


3. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in the preheated oven, or until the top is crisp and golden.
