I have been resisting my sweet tooth for a week now, how am I doing?

For a week now, I have been trying to cut out sweets from my meals. I have gone cold turkey on it completely, except for these instances, please tell me how I am doing:

I have eaten:

1 fortune cookie

Brownie thingie (I was at a brunch for my grandpas 80th birthday)

Rum toffee (I think I deserved it, I won the citizenshop award in my class, it was a small little bit)

Shared 2 vanilla ice cream scoops with banana tempura with 2 other people

I havn't eaten any sweets outside of special occasions.

Am I going at a good pace?

that is really good, usually people die without eating sweets, unless they are of course vegetarians
Reply:Are you 7???? Do you really need intelligent adults to answer that question for you???
Reply:good job...why deprive yourself....treat yourself for good behavior
Reply:Not bad - Keep it going!
Reply:It depends completely on your dietary goals and whether you are also exercising, which is another essential element of a healthy lifestyle.
Reply:Actually, on top of everything you have ingested that has sugar in it...why not have a Oreo with a BIG glass of strawberry milk to celebrate!
Reply:If you are trying to lose weight, stop it! When your body doesn't get enough calories, your body freaks out. It starts taking your mucles and turning them into fat that is stored in your stomach and thighs. So by resisting you are doing worse.
Reply:WHY DO U NEED US TO ANSWER YOU ARE A BIG BOY SO START ACTING LIKE ONE
Reply:Now it all depends whats ur age..if u r young and not obese..u don't need to cut down sugars unless u lead a very dull life... and if there is no history of Diabetes mallitus in ur family..there is no need to always trying to cut down on sugars...sugars are best source of energy cus everything u eat..body converts that in to glucose( sugar) before it uses it..so boy dont cut down and enjoy..just run a few miles per week...
