What can i eat to satisfy my sudden sweet tooth that is not fattening?

Yes, try eating fresh fruit. Just be careful because some fruit is really sugary too and does not have a lot of fiber, so the sugar will raise its levels in your blood and that will be equivalent to eating any other sweet thing. That will not be good for your waistline. After all the sugar contained in fruit is a refined sugar too. What makes fruit better that other stuff with refined sugar is the fiber:) because that slows down how to body absorbs the sugar and therefore you will use it for energy instead of accumulating it in the form of fat.





Stay away from bananas and dried fruit. Try some apples and oranges. Water melon, melon and pineapple are great too, because they are really watery, so they will fill you up right away.





I also drink some green tea sweetened with splenda. It is also an appetite suppressant, which is very helpful when those cravings strike:)

Reply:Keep a piece of sugarless gum in your mouth, it'll cut down on your cravings.
Reply:this might not sound like its very sweet, but i freeze red seedless grapes,mango and pineapple and eat it at night so i dont eat any junk in front of the television. it really does taste good!
Reply:pineapple pineapple pineappleeeeeeeeeeee!!..lol i have the same problem..but this does it every time for me its so sweet and its great cos it kills the sweetooth ,fills you up has next to no calories......and so you can quite happily sit n quash the whole thing all at once if you like which is quite often what i do hope this helps...lol

Reply:I have fallen in love with FUJI apples--they are sooo sweet. Try it. Lots of fiber. Very wise and delicious choice that takes TIME to eat--you have to chew quite a bit--more enjoyable than a quick candy bar that you can scarf down in 60 seconds. Hope you like it.
