they make cookies for dogs, I see them and get them at wal mart
What would be a good, healthy SNACK treat idea for a DOG who has a SWEET tooth?
Yogurt..
Reply:Go to PetSmart or PetCo. They have special doggy chocolate. Not good for people to eat, but they do have them for people who think dogs should get some chocoluvin' too.
^_^
Reply:Peter Pan peanut butter. Crunchy.
Reply:go to petco they have over 50 yummy %26amp; good for your dog treats ...it's right where you walk in to the store.
Reply:bacon
Reply:I have a little one with the same taste. I found in the Fosters and Smith (dog catalogue) a doggie cookie mix that you actually bake in the oven for them. They are healthy and the dog's just love them.
i took a little taste myself and they are really pretty good. They are just not the cheapest thing out there.
Reply:Carrots dogs love then as much as Buggs Bunny!!!
Reply:Obviously you want to watch snacks to avoid weight issues. But my dog really likes: cooked corn on the cob, baby carrots and her very favorite is when I smear some natural Peanut butter on the inside of her hollow bone. She will even get the bone and carry it into the kitchen to set it down in front of the cupboard (or my lap)
Reply:PetSmart carries Yogurt drops for dogs. They seem to enjoy them immensly. They even have them in a chocolate flavor. But you can give them just plain yogurt to. Not to much, just enough to settle the craving.
Reply:Both Pedigree and Purina both make dog Ice cream. Frosty paws ( Purina) and Pedigree icecream sandwiches. They are both available at the grocery store in the ice cream section. My dog loves it.
Reply:perzel dip in chaclte with milk. give the dog more milk thin the chaclateperzel
Reply:My lab LOVED any kind of berry (she even stood under the bush when I picked raspberries and caught the extras in her mouth), melon, apple, carrots and pears. She'd even eat left over salad and loved vinagrette dressings. I didn't give her grapes though; the vet recommended she stay away from them.
Reply:Try doing a search for "dog treat recipes molasses" or "dog treat recipes honey" for some recipes you can make at home that are a little sweeter. Honey and molasses are better for a dog than refined sugar, but they are still forms of sugar and you should give these treats sparingly.
Something that is sweet but fairly healthy and low fat could be fruits (no grapes) such as apples, bananas, melons, and carrots (I know, not a fruit, but a relatively sweet veggie).
Reply:Carrots and Apples(no leaves, stems or core) both of these are great for dogs and they usually love them! However, NEVER, NEVER%26lt; NEVER feed a dog grapes or raisins as these are known to cause renal failure! Going natural is so much better, healthier and cheaper than "Special" doggie treats at a Pet speciality store. Tip: To make the above mentioned treats even more fun try freezing them first for the dogs to chew on.
Reply:PEANUTBUTTER is the best get JEFF peanutbutter with honey. my dog koby goes CRAZY for it you can train a dog with the peanutbutter or you can give it to them as a treat and it leaves my koby's breath smell like peanutbutter with honey.
