Home Alone Chocolate Pudding

(If you're not alone, don't worry — just double this quick microwave recipe.)

3 tablespoons sugar

2 tablespoons Dutch process cocoa

1 tablespoon cornstarch

3/4 cup 2% low-fat milk --(any milk will do, though)

1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Combine sugar, cocoa, and cornstarch in a 1-quart glass measure, and stir well. Gradually add milk, stirring with a wire whisk. Microwave milk mixture at HIGH for 1-1/2 minutes, and stir well.

Microwave at MEDIUM HIGH (70% power) for 1-1/2 minutes or until mixture is thickened.

Add the vanilla extract, and stir well with a wire whisk.

(serving size: 3/4 cup)
Reply:Instant Banana Pudding with sliced bananas, light cool whip and low fat nilla wafers...YUMMY!!
Reply:try graham crackers with penut butter and marshmallow cream. yum..
Reply:Hershey Bar Pie:

1 pre-made Oreo chocolate pie crust

1 stick butter

6 Hershey Bars (plain or almond)

1 - 16 oz. tub Cool Whip topping (half in pie, half for garnish)

Melt butter in sauce pan. Break candy bars into melted butter. Mix until all melted together. Remove from heat and allow to cool for 2-3 minutes. Fold in 8 oz. Cool Whip and fold together until well mixed. Pour mixture into pie shell. Refrigerate for a couple of hours. At service, put a dollop of remaining Cool Whip on top of each slice of pie.

Like a good French Silk Pie but without so much effort.

Probably takes 10 minutes to make, but good enough to serve to company. And will definitely satisfy your sweet tooth.
